You can make brilliant films, both regarding the screenplay as well as from a technical point of view, films that are well-received by critics and audiences alike, and still make mistakes. This feature will point out several mistakes that can be found in Pixar films. Be it an element that vanishes from one shot to another, a character that changes position, an animation bug…click on the pictures and follow the arrow!

	The little Toddle Tot is white when he jumps into the fire engine and develops a brown complexion by the time he has landed.
	When Mr Potato Head thinks he is Picasso, his ear and arm are switched around. In the next shot they are instantly back to where they initially were.
	The Bucket O Soldiers is on the white, right-hand stripe of the rug. In the next shot it finds its way between the two white stripes.
	The Green Army Men have their parachutes when the skipping rope is lowered, but the parachutes disappear in the next shot.
	The baby monitor is right in front of Woody. When the Green Army Men warn them that the children are coming back up, the baby monitor vanishes.
	How do Buzz’s wings manage to get through this loop track without knocking against it?
	In this scene, the truck wheel comes to a stop just before running over Woody. On the previous shot however, the first wheel would have run over him.
	The string of Christmas lights disappears in one shot.
	Sid rushes out of his room and the landing is empty. When Woody seizes the opportunity to try and escape, Scud appears out of nowhere.
	The diameter of the lamp light is larger than the hole in the wall, and yet the toys manage to push it in and out without any trouble.
	When Rex says he is suffocating inside the cardboard box, you can see several pieces of polystyrene come out of it. However, when Woody opens this box in the removal lorry, there are none to be found.
	The toy at the bottom of the box is inanimate. In subsequent shots the toy has completely disappeared from the lorry.
	When Andy picks Buzz and Woody up, his fingers pass right through Buzz’s back. In this same scene, the viewer may ask himself why Andy does not really wonder how he found his favourite toys when he had in fact been sitting next to the cardboard box which had been open all along.

	In the first shot you can see that the royal family is underneath the pile of food. In the next shot it is no longer there.

	The toys are standing in front of the television but do not appear in its reflection.
	The pen is further away from the cardboard box without having been pushed aside by it when it was opened.
	Mr Potato Head loses his shoe halfway along the road on which the concrete pipe rolls. Without having budged, he is seen by the side in subsequent shots.
	Buzz does have his Utility Belt, but it disappears in the next shot.
	"Andy" is not written in the same direction in two shots (see the "A" on the toe/the "Y" on the toe).

	The ball is under the bed and a train set with a circular track is on the floor mat. Thaddeus Bile will nevertheless walk on the ball and the train disappears.
	The "green monster" symbol becomes "Scare". Likewise, you can see that the monsters’ names on the score board are or are not featured depending on the shot.
	The sock is not facing the same direction depending on the shots you are looking at.
	The menu does not have any logo, but one appears in the next shot.
	The clock radio will disappear from Sulley's bedroom.
	The scene only lasts very little time, and yet nearly a whole hour goes by if we refer to the clock.
	The CDA agents each have a serial number and you will see the same agent in two successive shots.
	Mike has no trace of paint on his hands but he does have in the next shot.

	The eggs are much closer to the edge in two close shots.
	Peach needs to unstick herself from the fish tank to be heard by the other fish. In one scene however, we can clearly hear her though she is stuck to the glass.
	Bloat changes position from one shot to another..
	The bag that captures Nemo is a ziplock bag. In the next shot the bag is different as it is tied.
	In one shot the alligator poster vanishes from the wall.
	From one shot to another the fisherman’s position changes (to the left of the wires, and then to the right of the wires).
	They cannot possibly float with bags that are completely filled with water.

	To change suits, the seat moves halfway back to the centre of the car. When Mr Incredible sits up he is nevertheless right behind the steering wheel.
	The pencil cup is at the centre of the table. When the CEO leaves, the pencil cup is on the edge of the desk and even falls off.
	There are three pieces of broccoli sitting next to the meat. In the next shot a piece of broccoli sits atop the meat.
	The table is very long but in the next shot you get the impression it is very short.
	The teapot changes place without having been used.
	The aftershave sits on the right-hand side of the chest and will be seen on the left-hand side in subsequent shots.

	Despite the confetti shower, not one piece of confetti falls on the cars.
	In one rear view Mack has no one to his left. In the next shot there are two cars.
	Lightning asks the residents of Radiator Springs to give him a makeover with a view to the final race. During the Piston Cup final he looks as per usual.

	The wooden spoon disappears from the pot without having been taken out. We can also wonder how, despite the pot being heated up, Remy does not burn his paws.
	There is no stepladder when Mustafa enters the dining room. A few shots later, the stepladder appears.
	The stepladder keeps appearing solely when Skinner is in need of it.

	The story takes place 700 years into the future. WALL-E crashes into Sputnik, which nevertheless fell to Earth three months after being launched.

	In the French version, "Trucs à faire" (""Stuff I’m going to do") is written across the book. In the next shot, "Going Do" is written instead, following an oversight on the translators’ part.
	When Carl takes off, we can clearly see the front porch of his house which is empty (and only one way in through the front door and stairs). Yet Russell is there a few shots further on.

Mr Potato Head’s foot slowly sinks into the ground.

	The camera enables the viewer to see Lightning face on. Yet with the aerial shot we should be seeing Francesco.
	In the front shot, Lightning is on the two white lines that are marked out on the track and Nigel is well away from them. Yet with the aerial shot Nigel is seen to be on the two white lines. He furthermore appears to be very close to Lightning whereas Miguel is between them.
	When Mater is trapped inside Big Bentley and is having a nightmare, the bells ring five times (meaning it is 5 o’clock) whereas the hands show 3 o’clock.
	Above the British police officer there is a building in the background that is different from one shot to another.
